Welcome to The Lamb, Farnham

A friendly local pub offering great ale and great company

We are a traditional community pub located about half a mile from Farnham town centre, midway between the station and The Maltings. We pride ourselves on a genuine warm welcome in relaxed and amiable surroundings.

Abbey Street was once the route taken by Monks who walked into the town from Waverley Abbey, a Cistercian monastery in Moor Park.  Until the middle of the 19th century this road was the main route into town from the south.  The pub was converted from two dwellings during the mid-1860's and has been known as The Lamb since at least that time.  It was largely rebuilt in 1928, but original 18th century beams can be seen throughout the building.

Our regular beers include Spitfire and Whitstable Pale Ale, but look out for seasonal beers. We show great sports on television, and hold live music once a week. Come over and see us soon!
